Skillwave Africa Training College runs 7 hands-on programmes in two schools — Nursing and TVET — on Boiman Road, inside Busara F.V. Academy Complex, Nyahururu. Fees are published per trimester. Intakes run every trimester — January, March, May, September; the next is 1 September 2026. Enquiring is free. The admission fee is KES 1,000 — payable only once you are offered a place.

One programme, done properly. 9 trimesters of classroom, skills lab and clinical placement, leading toward registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya.

The first trimester is higher — and here is why. Registration, caution money (refundable), uniform/lab coat, the medical examination on admission and the Hepatitis B vaccine are charged once, at the start. From trimester 2 the bill settles to the standard figure.
Trimesters of 4 months — you finish sooner than a term-by-term calendar, and you always know when the next block starts.
Attachment and practicals are part of the programme, not an extra you arrange yourself.
Day or boarding. Meals and boarding are not in the fee: day scholar meals KES 7,500 per trimester; boarding KES 22,500 per trimester. Both optional.
